Email, text messages and messaging with your participants
Automatic emails and reminders that go out on their own, targeted campaigns, text messages through your Brevo account and an inbox shared by the team.
What it does
Everything that goes out to a participant, and everything that comes back, is handled from the Communication screen.
- Automatic emails in the site’s colours, in the participant’s language. Each one can be enabled or disabled, customised and tested before it goes out.
- Reminders at D-30, D-15, D-10, D-7, D-3, D-1, on the day and at start time, disabled until you enable them, with a send date you can choose.
- Campaigns targeted by status, by form answer or by networking activity, with the exact list of recipients before sending.
- Information texts through the organization’s Brevo account, only to participants who ticked the consent box.
- A “Message the team” bubble on the site and a shared inbox, with views, assignments and internal notes.
What it does not do
These are messages from organizer to participant, not a prospecting tool.
- No promotional texts: in France they require a STOP mention and restricted sending hours. Only information texts are offered.
- No sending by the assistant or an outside tool: they prepare drafts, and only a team member sends.
Frequently asked questions
- Do reminders go out on their own?
- Once enabled, yes, to every confirmed participant and in their language. They start disabled; each row says when the reminder will go out, and “Send now” sends it within the minute.
- Who pays for text messages?
- Your Brevo account. Credits are bought there and usage is shown there; LiveEvent charges for no text message. The counter says how many texts each message will cost: 160 characters, or 70 as soon as a special character slips in.
- Can a visitor without an account message the team?
- If you open the bubble to visitors, yes: they write without registering, and leave their email if they want to hear about your reply. Otherwise, only signed-in participants can write.
